Computer Literacy
Summer 2024
The Laptops and Computer Literacy Project was launched in response to Kaombe Secondary School’s request to introduce a computer literacy course—the only one available in the surrounding catchment area. Recognizing the importance of digital skills in today’s world, this initiative equips students with essential computer knowledge that can open doors to future job opportunities, especially in urban areas. Thanks to the support of the Girl Scouts, who helped donate four laptops, students now have the chance to gain hands-on experience, improving their ability to pursue higher education and employment. The school is excited to offer this groundbreaking program, empowering students with valuable skills for a brighter future.
